About Bishop Aubrey Shines

Bishop Aubrey Shines, a native of the western suburbs of Chicago, is a recognized prophetic
voice who began sharing the gospel of Christ on the streets of Chicago and within the Cook
County Correctional System. He holds a Certificate in Computer Science, a Bachelor of
Theology, and a Master of Divinity.
He originally received his evangelistic license under the late Bishop J.D. Husband, General Board
Member of the Church of God in Christ, and was later consecrated as an Elder by the late
Bishop Willie J. Chambliss.
In 1987, the evangelical arm of Glory to Glory Ministries, Inc. was established by Bishop Aubrey
Shines. A decade later, in 1997, the church ministry was officially birthed under the same name
and has since grown into a thriving, multicultural congregation in Tampa, Florida, serving more
than 20 different ethnic groups each week.
