An interest group founded by Black pastors is determined to better the American workplace.<\/p>\n
Conservative Clergy of Color, a nonprofit group, will reveal its strategy Wednesday for \u201cGetting to All Lives Matter,\u201d a new employee training program that operates on the assumption that all Americans want to build a better society.<\/p>\n
\u201cMany companies have rushed to adopt new diversity training based on the divisive \u2018White Fragility\u2019 theories that assume \u2018implicit bias,\u2019 and castigates anyone who disagrees. Businesses are scared of what will happen to them if they don\u2019t comply, and have rushed to be as politically correct,\u201d the group said in a statement.<\/p>\n
They have formulated six-steps to remedy the complex situation; they include \u201cWhy The All Lives Matter Approach Means Stronger Teams,\u201d \u201cHow We Get Race Wrong\u201d and \u201cHow Responsible Is The Media?\u201d<\/p>\n
The pastors aim to increase trust in the workplace.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur hope is to burn out this paranoia that\u2019s got so many business leaders frozen up for fear of upsetting the mob,\u201d said Bishop Aubrey Shines, founder of the organization.<\/p>\n
\u201cOur program reflects the belief that human beings are inherently good, not inherent racist. Corporations should welcome our approach because it will actually build trust between coworkers, and consequentially increase workplace efficiency. Without trust, a business can\u2019t stand on its own,\u201d the pastor said.<\/p>\n
